Fact - Motorcycle Theft is on the Increase!
My advice on choosing any Security Product would be to buy The Best Product that best suits what you are protecting, if you have a Harley Davidson to secure it with a Squire Ex-Caliber 16mm SS65 Chain & Squire SS65CS Padlock would be very sensible & cost effective

Always consider having a secure fixing point such as a ground anchor to secure your motorcycle & chain to, this will help to prevent and put off any potential thieves from attempting to steal your motorcycle!
Most motorcycles are lifted and carried away! (usually into a van)
Consider the length of the security chain! it requires to be long enough to secure your motorcycle but not too long that it drapes on the ground.
A security chain that is left running along the ground can be more easily attacked!!

The Chain may have to secure the rear wheels & front wheels as well as securing through a ground anchor!!
If possible when you are away from home always secure your motorcycle with a chain to a secure object when out about, never leave it to chance!

Why Thatcham matters: Environmental testing house run by 31 UK insurers.
Thatcham is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1969 by British Insurers whose main aim is to carry out research targeted at containing or reducing the cost of motor insurance claims, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Originally set up to test automotive standards, they moved into motorbikes a few years ago and as they were first focused on electronics, we are more pleased to have secured their certification on our electronics components side, where it is more meaningful.

Why Sold Secure matters:
A very realistic test simulates attacking a lock on a motorbike.
Sold Secure is an independent body funded by UK insurers that tries to set a bar to eliminate low-level products from the market.
They assign three levels: bronze, silver and gold (the first two are very easy).
To award Gold they tend to test the products on the bikes to recreate a real-life theft situation. Disc-locks undergo some of the hardest tests to pass on a bike: wedge test with hammer chisel and screwdriver.
Lock without double-locking pin do not pass.

Parcels over 1.00kgs are sent by Overnight Courier Service www.interlinkexpress.com

The Delivery of your order by Courier
Your package may arrive at any time between 8.30 am and 4.00pm.
Please supply a telephone number when ordering any larger item ie, chains and ground anchors, this helps the Courier when delivering!
We can not offer any timed deliveries!
You may provide an alternative delivery address ie, works neighbours etc when ordering.
If no-one is at the delivery address to sign for the parcel, the goods will be returned to your local delivery depot and a postcard will be left requesting you to call to re-arrange delivery at a time you are in.
The Couriers will attempt two deliveries if still no answer, the Parcel will be left at the depot for 3 days, after which it will be returned to us.
When any Parcel is returned to the depot, I am also notified. I will then also try to also contact you to re-arrange delivery!
For any re-delivery once a parcel has been returned to to myself after been held at any depot for 3 days there is a surcharge of a minimum of 6.00 Pounds + any Royal Mail / Courier re-delivery costs.
If you do not provide a contact telephone number and the courier has difficulties finding your delivery address the parcel will be held at the local depot for 3 days, after which it will be returned to us.
The above costs will be then be charged/debited to the customer for having the parcel returned to us.
Saturday deliveries: by courier (larger items) can be arranged, please be aware the charge can be very costly, please enquire for prices.
All smaller items are delivered normally by Royal Mail.
